The work of Picaroon wouldn’t be possible without the great support of friends with their different disciplines – and adventures undertaken alone would be boring anyway. These Picaroons already sailed along on current or previous adventures:
Franz Gischel
Electrical engineer
He supports every project with his electrical engineering expertise and ensures that the electrical chips are well behaved towards us as well as that our technical outcome is safe and sound.
Theresa Zaremba
Composer
The Munich based composer creates music for Picaroon since the very first installation in 2013. The installations might be a special challenge due to their interactive nature – however, the musical results are always magnificent.
Thomas Blätte
Software engineer
Has a passion for creating software that enables unique experiences and delights people. His code lets music react to the way visitors interact with the art installation.
Luise Gischel
Textile Tailor
Handcrafted over 200 square meters of Irish linen into 32 beautiful fabric spheres for the artwork Take Comfort
Sebastian Walter
Designer and inventor
Designer by heart and solution finder for simply any kind of problem. Created complex 3D printed constructions for many installations.
Hannes Holzmair
Physicist
Together with Marius, he gave an important push to start realising the idea for Surface X. Many nice Sunday afternoons spent together brainstorming, calculating and exchanging ideas.
